About Us
Furevergreen is a privately owned, locally operated pet aquamation facility serving Lane County. Rooted in compassion and community, our mission is to provide respectful, sustainable and gentle end-of-life care for beloved animal companions.

Co-founders Luke McAlister and Lindsay McAlister, DVM
As fellow animal lovers and pet parents ourselves, we know how deeply pets become a part of our families – and how important it is to give them a peaceful, respectful goodbye. That’s why we’re committed to offering personal, thoughtful support through the process of aquamation.
For more than 20 years, Luke has worked in healthcare, specializing in radiology and interventional oncology. Over the years, he’s learned that showing up for people during difficult times — with empathy and presence — can mean just as much as the treatment itself. That belief has guided him into this new chapter of service.
Lindsay has been dedicated to helping families through loss since 2016 with her mobile practice, Heart in Home, which provides in-home euthanasia in the comfort and privacy of a family’s home. Through this work, she’s seen firsthand the profound need for compassionate continuity of care — from the final moments of saying goodbye to the aftercare that follows.
Furevergreen was born from that calling. By joining the gentle care of aquamation with Lindsay’s long-standing commitment to supporting families in their homes, we’re able to provide a seamless, compassionate experience every step of the way. For us, this work is a natural extension of a lifelong commitment to empathy, care, and connection — honoring the bond between families and their beloved companions.
